The more you pull off the stock bike, the better it gets. The only accessory I've found worth having is a Mexican made leather tool roll that i mounted under the headlight. Compact saddlebags are basically useless. If you can't see over a windshield, don't run it (and if you can it doesn't deflect much wind anyway). As far as buying trim items, use Yamaha or Harley davidson pieces and adapt them to fit. The only decent stock accessory seems to be the bag supports, but with micro bags, they aren't very useful either. Do NOT buy anything from JC Whitney. Very poor QC, likely to arive damaged or missing parts, quite likely won't fit the model advertised for. Factory gel seat feels like an asphalt lump versus the stock concrete block. Generic bike trim items ala Autozone, flea market rallies, etc., actually tend to be alright, as long as the seller is a scooter jockey.
Just my two cents.
